The development of the prototype

The development of the prototype starts with the development of the idea what the prototype and its implementation will serve for. In this respect, I decided to focus on practical aspects of my development. This is why I decided to elaborate the project of a calendar, which allow me to organize and schedule my working day and my plans for the future using my calendar.
In actuality, the use of the calendar is very important, especially today, when technologies are progressing and people become more and more mobile. This is why my calendar will be applicable not only to PC or laptops but also to smartphones. In such a way, I will have access to my calendar any time I want. The development of the calendar is very important for the contemporary fast rhythm of life. For instance, I need to have my schedule at hand all the time. This is why I decided to develop the calendar but the calendar should be user-friendly, easy to use and provide users with basic information, which is essential for planning of the schedule.
While developing the calendar I focused on the creation of user friendly screen. In this regard, it was important to develop attractive screen and interface. At first I added a default view screen to provide users with the basic screen, which they can use as default one. The default screen is used by the user on the regular basis, but alternatively they can use other screens, which can be offered to users as optional. The default screen should be simple and users should not grow tired as they use the default screen mode. In such a way, users can enjoy using simple interface and the screen.
Furthermore, I re-labeled “today” button to a button labeled “daily”. In such a way, I have managed to create the calendar that is not stuck to certain date but could be changed depending on the current situation. This is particularly important because I have to develop the calendar that is easy to use, regardless of physical location. For instance, I can move from one region to another. As a result, I can be in different time zones in the course of the day that makes “today” button ineffective and the replacement of this button by “daily” button is reasonable.
Furthermore, I inserted grid lines into the daily calendar view. In such a way, I could plan my day in details. I could make notes in the calendar and track events of the day hour after hour. The detailed planning is possible due to the inserted grid lines, which are easy to use and very convenient in terms of scheduling. In such a way, I can use the full potential of the calendar to plan my working day in details and make notes concerning each event I have planned or I have completed in the course of the day.
Furthermore, I added a landing page for “settings” button, which is very convenient and helpful because I have to travel for long distance. As a result, I need to plan my travel accurately. Therefore, I need to know my landing time and the time I will spend on travel. The landing page button helps me to elaborate accurate plan of my travel in the course of the day.
Furthermore, I fixed the “postpone reminder” dialog in order to make it more effective. To put it more precisely, the postpone reminder is very important, especially when I have to delay or change my plans. For instance, if I am late I have to shift my plans and scheduled appointments. The postpone reminder is helpful to remind me about events, which I have initially planned and changes I have made in my plans.
Moreover, I added appointment time to “postpone reminder”. In such a way, I can change my plans and fix my appointments. The postpone reminder helps me to develop effective plans and introduce changes, which are essential, when I have some problems and have to delay appointments. At the same time, I added “cancel appointment” button because often I cannot fulfill all my appointments. Therefore, I have to cancel appointments or my partners have to cancel appointments. As a result, the cancel appointment button is very useful and helps me to organize better my working day.
Finally, I focused on the development of the user-friendly navigation, which helped me to navigate easily and to get access to any date in my calendar. Moreover, I can schedule any day and to elaborate the detailed plan of appointments using the interface of my calendar. I believe that my calendar is very effective and useful because it is easy to use and applicable in the contemporary, fast rhythm of life.
Thus, I would like to place emphasis on the fact that the creation of user-friendly calendar is very important because it allows planning my working day and fix my plans in the course of the day.
