Memo to CEO of ASPCA Essay

ASPCA is a renowned organization in our community and I highly appreciate working in such organization holding the position of the senior director. I was always eager to work in such organization as ASPCA because this organizations contributes to the development of the local community and protection of animals.
However, organization comes unprepared for the upcoming impact of hurricane Irene. Our organization should prepare for possible negative effects of the hurricane, which can affect not only the local population but also community animals, which may stay unprotected. In such a situation, I would recommend ASPCA to undertake several steps to enhance the protection of community animals, including the following:
Always bring pets indoors at the first sign or warning of a storm or disaster.
Make sure all pets wear collars and ID tags with up-to-date identification. Micro-chip your pet as a more permanent form of identification.
Keep a pet emergency kit and supplies handy with items such as medical records, water, pet food and medications, and pet first aid supplies. Take this with you if you evacuate.
Arrange a safe haven for your pets in the event of evacuation. Do not leave your pets behind.
Choose a designated caregiver who can take care of your pet in the event you are unable.
I would highly appreciate you consider my recommendations, which I believe can protect the local community animals and minimize the negative effects of Hurricane Irene. I am ready to provide the detailed action plan to implement the aforementioned recommendations.
