MANAGEMENT AND EDUCATION Essay
People need management because they cannot work effectively, if they lack the effective organization of their work and workplace environment. People need management because management can facilitate their work and improve their performance. At the same time, it is extremely difficult for an individual to reach a considerable success and to reach set goals without the support of other people, especially in the modern society. In such a situation, people need to cooperate with each other to reach their goals and to improve their performance. This is exactly where the role of management becomes particularly important.
However, management should be grounded on the professional knowledge and skills. In this regard, I can refer to my personal experience for I am interested in volunteer job and I work for a non-profit organization. This experience helped me to understand the full extent to which management can be important for modern organizations. At the same time, I understood that my professional skills and abilities are important for the successful organizational performance. In fact, my communication skills and leaderships skills have proved to be particularly important in my work in a non-profit organization. I could hardly succeed in my volunteer work, if I did not have my communication and leadership skills. As a result, the performance of the entire organization would be under a threat, if I and other professionals had poor managerial skills.
On the other hand, I could not work effectively, if I did not pay much attention to my education. Education helps to expand my professional skills, which I can apply in my work. As a result, my performance can contribute to the improvement of the organizational performance.
