Space exploration, space travel, space crafts …. These things are so new and unknown for all people on our planet that everything which is connected with this topic arouses great interest. As for me, I have positive relation to space travel and I always try to learn more about the technological advancements in this sphere of human activity. That is why the research paper of the Project 3 is closely connected with such a new and unknown for us topic as space travel. During my research work I tried to find more information concerning space travel and concerning new technologies in this area. I tried to use only the most interesting facts on space travel. My great desire to learn more about space and my great interest in this issue led me to the topic I chose for my research paper.
The outside sources that discuss space travel and refer to space exploration helped me to expand my knowledge and broaden my outlook. Moreover, I should say that many outside sources shaped my ideas concerning the use of technology and its impact on the lives of human beings. Of course, I cannot say that I agree with all the authors of the sources that were used in the research paper. There are some sources where I can express my negative opinion. For example, I do not agree with the author of the book Feed that new technologies can have such a negative effect on humanity.
My research paper consists of several parts, but I can say that all the parts of this assignment came easily to me. The theme of space exploration is widely discussed today, and many scientists and engineers are interested in space exploration innovations and new technological advancements. That is why it is not a problem to find the appropriate sources and use them in the Project 3. However, I should say that the part of the assignment where I discussed the future space travel technologies was unexpectedly challenging in some way. It was difficult for me to find enough information concerning space travel technologies as some of the engineering projects did not receive full coverage in media, and today they are kept in secret.
The end result of the research work comes close to the vision I have in my mind. I consider that our digital nation has a lot of opportunities to conquer space and organize regular space travel missions. Thousands of scientists and engineers are ready to share their skills and knowledge in this area, but the problem is concluded in the lack of financial support for such innovative projects as building space travel crafts. I can say that I completely support the idea of digital nation and digital world and I want to live there. It would be great to have a chance to perform a space travel and to learn more about other planets and other civilizations.
The next time I am assigned a research project, I will try to use video sources, documentary films and illustrations in order to make my research paper more informative. I am sure that these techniques are very helpful as they can give visual presentation of the required objects. I will be sure to do again the research work, the Internet search and literature review, making conclusions and expressing my personal ideas on the required topic.
My thoughts on the final product are the following ones. First of all, I am happy that I had a chance to write the research paper on space travel because everything that is connected with space is interesting for me. I believe that we are not alone in the Universe, and that it is our major goal to find ways to other civilizations in space. I know that there are thousands of people on our planet who have already met unidentified flying objects. I also had a chance to watch UFO, and to tell the truth, it was great. I hope that I will have an opportunity to make a space travel one day.
Secondly, I am sure that digital nation and digital world we live in can provide many benefits to human beings. That is why it is very important for us to develop new technologies and apply them in practice. I hope that each year there will be more and more new technological advancements in all spheres of human activity, including space exploration and space travel.
Thirdly, I believe that more and more people on our planet will understand the vital role of new technology in our life. Those people who criticize new technological advancements today should change their opinion. Of course, everything new is unknown and gives cause for concern, but it is impossible to move forward and become a digital nation without new technologies, innovations and discoveries. I hope that in the nearest future space travel will be reality, but not a dream.
