Subject: Gratitude letter
Dear Mr. Lentz,
My name is…. and I’m a student that just finished a work experience program with your company. I highly appreciated the chance to work in the marketing department of US Headquarters of Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc.
I know that one of the Toyota Way principles is the development of exceptional people that who follow Toyota’s philosophy. (Toyota, 2007, Par 2)
I’m ready to share Toyota’s values and I believe that my knowledge and skills would be really helpful for Toyota in the nearest future, after the graduation from the University next year.
After absolutely brilliant experience of participation in Toyota’s everyday life, work processes, meeting your marketing team, I set a new goal for myself – I would like to be a part of your corporation.
The most inspiring moment for me was to learn that Toyota is aimed to completely change the future of the vehicles and technology and that it has a strategy to make the HEV a mainstream standard.
I understand that the main reason of Toyota’s success is its corporate culture and its approach to innovations that helped it to become the leader. On the contrast to its competitors such as General Motors, Ford, Honda, is that Toyota decided to integrate this new technology into development of all their new vehicles, completely changing the technology and the future of the auto industry.
The emphasis on environmental issues and “green” culture in Toyota’s marketing communications is really important for building a new consumer culture.
I would like to thank you personally for spending some of your time discussing Toyota’s current market challenges and I hope to meet you next year.
Sincerely,
Your name,
