A Review in HR Essay
Today, human resource management (HRM) plays an extremely important role in both public and private sector of economy because human resource management affects consistently the organizational performance and influences the development of organizations. At the same time, the development of modern HRM is accompanied by numerous challenges and problems, which force organizations to change their human resource policies and strategies. In this respect, it is worth mentioning the growing impact of the process of globalization on organizations, their performance and HRM, ethical issues that arise in the contemporary business environment and in contemporary organizations, technological progress and related changes that force organizations to change their HRM. Obviously, in such a context, organizations have to change and adapt their HRM to new challenges of the contemporary environment, in which organizations operate. At the same time, HRM still aims at the achievement of its strategic goals, which have been traditionally set and which are still relevant today, including the improvement of employees’ performance, organizational performance and the overall improvement of the organizational culture and relationships with its clients. Therefore, the contemporary HRM focuses on the elaboration of strategies and methods, which are efficient in the contemporary environment and which can maximize the effectiveness of their performance along with the formation of a positive public image of organizations.
