It is known that higher education plays and important role in the life of any person especially if he or she is going to achieve certain goals and make a good career.
In order to get good education, a great deal of things should be done. First of all, it is necessary to find a good higher educational institution which will help to gain necessary knowledge. Then, it is very important to choose the educational program you are going to study.
I have already decided this issue and made my choice. British Columbia Institute of Technology is the best higher educational institution for me. This is not a spontaneous decision. I have learned much about this institute and the faculty. Moreover, I have a lot of friends who are the present day student’s of this higher educational institution. All of them speak well of the faculty and the quality of knowledge they get at BCIT.
Speaking about the educational program which I am going to study, I decided to choose Cardiology Technology.
The Cardiology Technology program is referred to Cardiac Sciences Department. This program will give me an opportunity to become a trained technologist who will have all the necessary skills in a variety of non-invasive diagnostic cardiology procedures which are of great importance in health care.
I know that the work of cardiology technologist is a serious one and requires certain traits of character such as attentiveness, responsibility, good technical skills, geniality and patience. I think that I will be able to cope with all the difficulties which will appear during my work. I am a person of strong character that is why I always try to do my best at work.
I decided to choose this specialization long ago. I think that it is a very honorable work to help doctors to diagnose and treat different disorders of the heart and blood vessels. Moreover, I know that cardiology technologists are also recognized as an important part of any medical team.
Cardiology technologist can find a job at hospital cardiology departments and clinics, at cardiac rehabilitation centers and medical schools.
The program I am going to study at British Columbia Institute of Technology includes the study of theoretical and clinical application of electrocardiography and cardiac pathology, cardiac pharmacology and cardiac physiology. Moreover, the Diploma of Cardiology Technologist will give me an opportunity to advance into other areas of specialization.
I know that the experienced specialists of the faculty of British Columbia Institute of Technology will share their huge knowledge with me and teach me all the necessary things concerning cardiology technology.
As I have got my High School Diploma and my sphere of interests include biology, chemistry and physics, I think that I have a lot of chances to become a student of British Columbia Institute of Technology. My goal in my life is to provide benefit to all the people who need it, to take care of ill patients and to do everything possible to save their lives. As a human heart is a vital part of the body, the work of cardiology technologist is also a vital one. I will try to do my best to become a good specialist and to perform my duties in a proper way.
