Using the right analysis tool Essay
“Using the right analysis tool: whether it will compensate for inexperienced managers or not”
I don’t want to undervalue the importance of right analysis tool. Technology has an important impact on the operational environment in organization. Good analysis system can make a lot useful things even for inexperienced manager. The use of right analysis tool can provide some important results, which can be used in different departments and subdivision of the organization. Thus, the results of operational costs analysis can be used by financial department to forecast the financial performance of the company.
However, the best analysis tool is just a tool, and it is useless without the experienced manager. First, the results of analysis can be wrong because of mistake, and inexperienced manager cannot notice that. Second, inexperienced manager cannot easily and correctly interpret the obtained data. Third, even the proper collected and carefully interpreted data should provide some results for practical implementation. Inexperienced manager cannot develop the most effective strategy on the base of analysis: he or she just doesn’t know how to use this data. Just the opposite, the experienced manager can use not only the experience of previous work but also the intuition. At last, inexperienced manager often demands the instructions and support from the experienced supervisor. As the result, the work is performed twice: by supervisor and by manager.
Thus, I claim that the best analysis tool is worthless without the experienced manager who can check and interpret the obtained data, develop the strategy of practical implementation, and make the important strategic decision. Even the most advanced analysis tool cannot replace or compensate the value gained by organization experienced managers.
